Terms of Service

Welcome to Remoud. By accessing our website and using our cloud hosting and deployment services, you agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions.

1. Account Terms

  • You must be a human. Accounts registered by "bots" or other automated methods are not permitted.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and password. Remoud cannot and will not be liable for any loss or damage from your failure to comply with this security obligation.
  • You are responsible for all content posted and activity that occurs under your account.

2. Service Usage & Restrictions

You agree not to use the Service for:

  • Mining cryptocurrency or any compute-intensive tasks not related to serving web applications.
  • Hosting content that infringes on intellectual property rights.
  • Hosting malicious content, malware, phishing sites, or any illegal material.
  • Attempting to probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Remoud system or breach security measures.

We reserve the right to remove any content or terminate any account that we determine, in our sole discretion, violates these usage guidelines.

3. Intellectual Property

We claim no intellectual property rights over the material you provide to the Service. Your profile and materials uploaded remain yours. However, by setting your pages to be viewed publicly, you agree to allow others to view your Content.

4. Termination

Remoud, in its sole discretion, has the right to suspend or terminate your account and refuse any and all current or future use of the Service, for any reason at any time.

5. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Remoud operates, without regard to conflict of law provisions.

Privacy Policy

Your privacy is critical to us. At Remoud, we have a few fundamental principles:

1. Information We Collect

Account Information

When you sign up via GitHub or Google, we collect your email address, username, and profile picture. We do not store your passwords as authentication is handled via OAuth.

Deployment Data

We store the code repositories you explicitly connect to Remoud for the purpose of building and deploying your applications. We access this data strictly to provide the Service.

Usage Logs

We collect server logs which may include IP addresses, browser types, and timestamps to diagnose issues and prevent abuse.

2. How We Use Your Data

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide, operate, and maintain our services.
  • Process your transactions and manage your billing.
  • Send you technical notices, updates, security alerts, and support messages.
  • Detect and prevent fraud and abuse of our services.

3. Data Storage & Security

We use industry-standard encryption to protect your data in transit and at rest. Your deployment secrets and environment variables are encrypted before being stored in our database.

4. Cookies

We use cookies solely for authentication and session management. We do not use third-party tracking cookies for advertising purposes.

5. Your Data Rights

You have the right to request access, correction, or deletion of your personal data. Requests can be made via support and will be processed within a reasonable timeframe.

Refund Policy

We strive to keep our customers happy. If you are unsatisfied with Remoud, here is how our refund policy works.

1. Subscription Cancellations

You may cancel your Pro or Business subscription at any time from your dashboard. Upon cancellation, you will continue to have access to paid features until the end of your current billing cycle.

2. 14-Day Money Back Guarantee

If you are a new customer and are not satisfied with our service, you can request a full refund within 14 days of your initial purchase. This applies to the first month of service only.

3. Exceptions

Refunds are not available for:

  • Accounts terminated due to violation of our Terms of Service (e.g., crypto mining, phishing).
  • Domain name registrations, as these are paid to third-party registrars immediately.
  • Partial months after the 14-day window. Once the 14-day refund period has passed, all payments are considered final.

4. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, please contact our support team at support@remoud.com or via Telegram. Please include your account email and the reason for the request.
